Upcoming! Sri Lanka RYS Project > 11-17Aug 2023 Location: Kahagala Village, Ilukkubura Division. Mathale District, Sri Lanka Objective: Provide clean drinking water to 50 families (>200 residents) of less privileged background. The villagers use spring water from the mountains. However, the water are not filtered, resulting in many patients with kidney problems. Through this RYS project, we hope to filter and collect the spring water in a concrete tank for distribution. This will result in a constant supply of safe and clean water for the villagers. We seek for generous donation to cover the expenses of 50 youth participants and staff for this 6 days project.
